Nine Advantages of LED Strip

Five LED Driver Chip Debugging Techniques
1. High
temperature of chip
This
is mainly for high-voltage of the built-in power modulator driver IC. If the
current consumption of the IC is 2mA, 300V voltage is applied above the chip,
the chip's power consumption is 0.6 W. It will certainly cause the high
temperature above the chip. The maximum current of the driver chip is from
drive power consumption of the MOS tube. So think about better heat sink.
2. Power
tube high temperature
Power
consumption of the power tube is divided into two parts which are switching
loss and conduction loss. Note that most of the occasion especially LED
electric drive applications, switching damage is much larger than the
conduction loss. So try to reduce the frequency, however, you need to know that
when the frequency is reduced, in order to obtain the same load capacity, the
peak current is bound to large or inductance becomes large, which are likely to
cause the inductor into saturation region. If the inductor saturation current
is large enough, you can consider the CCM (continuous current mode) to change
into DCM (discontinuous current mode), so you need to add a load capacitance.

LED Street Lights Avoid Lightning Solutions

1. External
lightning protection combined with internal lightning protection
Now
the general LED lights exterior are the conductor material which is equivalent
to a lightning rod, the design must

lightning protection system or set overvoltage protection, and equipotential
bonding.

LED Will Replace Incandescent
In
order to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions, address

light.
EU
2007 launched a energy saving lamps use plans, the office and street lighting
facilities, household or other forms of incandescent lamps made more
stringent energy efficiency requirements, target in the phasing out of incandescent
in private households previously 2009. Its
Member States have adopted a related move, such as the UK announced in 2011 to
phase out incandescent; Irish Government has set out a timetable for
incandescent lamps; Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, France has done a similar
declaration.
U.S.
will phased out the use of incandescent light bulbs from December 2007. Federal
standards will be conducted in two stages, the first stage is from 2012 to
2014, banned 100 watts lamps, covering all commonly used lamps, up to about
25-30% energy savings objective. After 2020, the
U.S. Department of Energy and other departments will take more mandatory
measures. In April 2007, Canada announced in 2012 before phasing out
inefficient incandescent light bulbs.
