What Is Green Lighting?
Green Lighting is the concepts presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the early 1990s. The complete contents of green lighting are including energy efficient, environmentally friendly, safe, comfortable four indicators. Energy efficient means to consume less power to obtain adequate lighting, thereby significantly reducing power plant emissions of atmospheric pollutants, to achieve environmental protection objectives. Safe and comfortable means is a clear illumination, soft, and does not generate ultraviolet light, glare and other harmful light, no light pollution.

Engineering requirements that people do not simply believe that only energy efficiency, but to go from a higher level of awareness, increased to conserve energy, protect the environment. Because the purpose of the green lighting project proposed is not just economic problems, but mainly focused on the use of resources and environmental protection.
